Gina Carano Gets Canceled - and Gets a New Partnership

Hey youth!  I imagine you likely know about the Disney+ show, The Mandalorian . And if you do, you likely also know one of the star characters; Cara Dune.  Cara Dune is the strong, independent, cliche-breaking, feminine, leading character that women want  to see. She isn't the hourglass-practically-starved-and-very-sexualized body type, she is strong, broad, muscular, and beautiful. She is independent and she is also kind and supportive of others. She's tough without trying to be a man. She isn't cocky, arrogant, rude, and doesn't make the ridiculous "what, because I'm a woman?" or "ugh men" comments. I wasn't born at the time, but it's no less a important day to me, and so spreading awareness of it is something that I really want to do given some things that a certain state  (*cough* New Jersey *cough*) has done. Instead of telling you every single second-hand thing I know about this day, I'm going to tell you briefly about what happened (in case you need a refresher or are not natively American and don't know).  The twin towers were part of the World Trade Center. These build...

Enjoy! - EJ ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~  Hi everyone, I’m Lavender Bleu!  Before we get around to the important stuff (which is why you’re here) I figure I ought to introduce myself a little more. As I already said, I’m Lavender Bleu. I normally don’t blog about this kind of thing (my own blog is about writing) but I really love what E. J. is doing, and she was nice enough to let me guest post, so here I am! ^-^ This is pretty much a response to her post about youth group, more or less, it’s to help contrast her experience with mine. So! Let’s get to what you ...
